"I grew up in Wisconsin, where music first became part of my life. At age seven, I began piano lessons, and by seventeen I was drawn not only to playing but also to the craft of piano tuning and technical work via apprenticeship with a local piano tuner. That dual passion for performance and precision shaped the path I would follow.
I studied piano and organ at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, deepening both my musicianship and my understanding of the instrument itself. In 2010, I moved to New York City to pursue a career as a pianist, teacher, and technician. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with many of the city’s leading piano dealers and ateliers, including Beethoven Pianos, Klavierhaus, and Faust Harrison.
In 2013, I began my association with Steinway & Sons, where I have continued to refine my craft through Steinway factory training, Spirio certification, and extensive experience as a concert technician. My work has taken me into recording studios, concert halls, and private residences, where I provide concert-level service to pianos of every age and condition.
Over the years, I have had the honor of preparing pianos for world-renowned musicians - including Adele - and tuning for performances at Carnegie Hall. Each piano I work on receives the same meticulous care, whether destined for a major stage or a cherished place in someone’s home.
